I am enjoying my role at NEXT. I feel that everyday is a little different and that keeps me on my toes and feeling challenged. Sometimes it seems we have a different 'shiny object' each week but, for the most part, the ultimate goal doesn't seem like a moving target. Overall, I am satisfied at NEXT.

The leadership team is so passionate about our mission, goals, and culture. We are a start-up so there's some growing pains with our leadership team/style- but overall, it's clear that they care deeply, are thoughtful in their strategy and approach, and want employees and NEXT to succeed.

The bonus aspect is great, but I am worried we will not hit our company goal which accounts for 80% of it.

I believe I am compensated fairly and also feel that I can have an open conversation with my manager about my salary. I also believe that the Leaders want to be competitive in the market and will adjust compensation accordingly if warranted.

My Manager has great leadership qualities. I learn from them and trust them that they have my back. I have another member of my team that goes way outside of their job scope for the benefit of those around them. We have some weak members that bring us down, though.

Unfortunately the politics here are becoming apparent. They do not affect me directly, but the negativity surrounding it is creating an overall poor culture. Too much gossip and power struggles right now.
