Target Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Once I was talking to a person, they were easy to talk to.

It was fast and easy

Just how simple it was.

Review from Sales Dept

Able to schedule times, easy process

Review from Executive Dept

I enjoyed making the videos watching them and then remaking and editing them

Review from Business Development Dept

It was fast compared to mist

Review from Customer Support Dept

In Person with immediate results. But of coarse this has change to online video interviews that leave everyone in limbo today

Review from Customer Success Dept

I applied online and was able to record my responses rather than just write the answers.

The judge had a good sense of thinking and interviewing

Given an interview guide to study for the intervoew

Fiarly strightfoward and easy. Its easier to get hired on as an external in most areas. Once you are in the door they offer to develop you but its almost impossible to meet the expecations to move up to the next role in the same building.

It was very simple and easy

it was online and i got the job on my first attempt

It wasn't in person and I could think about my answers before recording them

I liked the virtual screening interview first

It allowed you to show your wants alongside of improving the company of Target.

It was very simple and fast

It was recorded and I could study up for the questions

How simple and effective it was.

The time taken to explain the responsibilities of the position. The positives and negatives. An accurate portrayal of the job.

Review from HR Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

You interview by doing an online taping that is then viewed by the hiring manager. There is no human interacrion until you're hired. Interivew people in person even if its on the computer through video chat.

Review from Sales Dept

Communication across interviewers in the company for a better candidate experience

It was all online but cant ask questions

Review from Customer Success Dept

No pre recorded videos. Just face to face interviews

In person interview would be a lot better.

Be available at the scheduled time. Know the answers to my questions.

if team members have degrees and diplomas pay them accordingly. Someone with a GED should not get paid the same as someone with a bachelors degree experience or not

If they ask more questions applicable to the job

Take some time to know and care about your new employees

Actually learn how to care about the people you're hiring and get to know them more.

In person because mine was on video bc of covid and i hated it.

There was no interview at all

No interview at all they sent me a date to do new hire paperwork told me shift and pay I accepted it online then work and fist day

Recently interviewed for an internship. I don't think it is ideal to use situation-based interview questions. It's robotic and doesn't allow HR/management to really get to know prospective team members. I think situational-based interview questions are beneficial *to an extent*. It seems overdone

Review from Sales Dept

There is nothing I would change

Review from Sales Dept

I feel the company shouldnt hire anymore peopke

Review from Sales Dept

maybe try wording questions in a better way

Review from Sales Dept

Stop hiring so many seasonal, hire good people to keep on the schedule

Review from Customer Support Dept

I wouldn't make the females feel uncomfortable

Review from Design Dept

name something that people know when they start not have you waiting and waiting and if I find out you're supposed to be and on a day that you're not total to get there
