I started at Tenable in early 2021, while WFH was in full swing. I've really enjoyed the collaborative effort from my direct manager and team, as well as other departments to make sure I feel welcome and supported in a new role.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My teammates are always ready to jump in to lend a hand, provide guidance, or be a sounding board for strategy and big decisions.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
More proactive updates from the hiring team would have made my experience a lot less stressful. There are always outside factors that can slow down an interview/hiring process, but if there are candidates that the company truly wants, that effort would go a long way.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I personally believe that the effort that my direct manager makes to treat us like people rather than numbers makes a huge difference in the experience I have had thus far. I feel like my best interests are being considered, not simply "here is what the company likes so do that"
