The culture is not good in the UK. There are bully/toxic managers in EMEA and it is shocking how this is brushed under the carpet because they have been here a long time. At times it feels like you are part of the boys club. It was a fun place to work with great results.People are afraid to complain
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct manager supports and encourages me in every way he can. He gives me guidance and advice and has my back all the time.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The good colleagues, the ones who want to make it a nice place to work and welcome others joining the company. The benefits are good. My team does not have micro-management. We are trusted to do our job.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A newcomer to the company started on the same base salary and I am his manager. I have been offered roles from other companies as an individual contributor with a larger base salary than I am currently on. Feels external candidates have a better chance of negotiating salary than existing employees
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I can't classify all coworkers in one category. Some coworkers are awesome to work with, I learn from them and work together to achieve success. Others do everything they can to bring you down and humiliate you so they feel bigger about themselves to the point I dread having interaction with them.
