This company is unlike any company I've ever worked for, in the best way. It's a fantastic work place with unbeatable communication and flexibility. The benefits are outstanding. Truly, the only downside is the compensation but I'm working my way up, though it's taking a while.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
The work we do is great and challenging, but we get paid so poorly that the benefits do not balance out the poor wage. Working from home is great, but I can't pay my bills.

Phenomenal communication, understanding and problem solving.

We find common interests during chat times, and we all work together great.

Communication, the ability to have fun with each other and speak our minds.

HR and leads make sure to communicate with the employees and make an effort to get to know them.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working from home is very comfortable for me and my mental health. Knowing that I am working for patient protection is extremely motivating.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The actual work is great, but I don't feel motivated enough to be excited about the work because I am being paid very poorly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The communication is great. The company puts aside time for us to have friendly communications and I think that's invaluable when you work from home.
What makes you most happy at work?
Remote work really benefits my mental health, and having an amazing team is like the cherry on top. Definitely a wonderful work environment full of fun and encouragement.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The higher-ups really need to listen and consider what the hard-working employees are saying. Most of us have immense struggles with the compensation, but leadership does not seem to care.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Verisys does not value it's employees because they refuse to pay a fair wage, even to dedicated, long-term employees. Throughout inflation, the wages have stayed the same. Anytime this issue is brought up, it is quickly brushed off.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With recent inflation, the compensation does not even cover bills, let alone recreational costs. I'm lucky to live in a dual-income household. I could not live on my own and pay bills or buy groceries on this income alone.
