When I started it was a very different culture than it has been since the merger. With the advent of the merger some things have changed and not always for the better. It seems there is now more of a disconnect between upper management and the people who actually do the work.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
When I started the culture was much different than it is now. It was much more laid back - more California. Since the acquisition it has been much more work until you drop and give everything to the company - much more East Coast.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Nothing. I am not a social person.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like the company contribution to the HSA.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is energetic and focused.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Usually friendly and helpful - but that seems to be changing
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct manager is helpful and aware of my needs. They work to ensure I have the resources available.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Who really is excited about working - I'd rather be on a beach. As a workplace it's fine, but I'm not excited about it.

Who is excited about work? If we all had our way we would all have our toys and our days to use them in.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is mostly remote work. There are a few positions that require you attend the office and there IS office space if you prefer to go in.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are willing to work to find solutions to any issue and are very understanding that sometimes things come up and you need to take a day here or there suddenly.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Since the merger (really acquisition) the company has been much more focused on putting money in the investors pockets rather than actually caring about employees and the quality of job done.
