The employees get along well for the most part. All the lazy ones stick together and put more effort into hiding from management then they work. The hard workers have their click and end up doing all the work
Helping customers. I know so many of then that theh always seek me out because if I dont have the answer to their issue I will find someone who does. I dont bullshit the customer like all the young employees do.
It was a long time ago. So it's all changed . I had experience in the building industry and that's what they wanted. Now they just want cheap labor. Instead of knowledgable employees . I just gave them a pay rate I was willing to work for and they negotiated a wage with me.
I loved my job for years. I have witnessed over the years the company find ways to get rid of some of the best employees who have been there for years because they dont want to pay them. Now you can't trust the employees knowledge. They have been a plumber , electrical , hardware etc.
The problem is the work ethic and knowledge. Most don't have a clue how to fix anything in your home. They tell customers what they want to hear and are wrong. So then the customer has to come back and return product and are upset. They others spend their time on their phone or hiding.
