The company at least at my store 1404 is more concearned about moving people hire that they like more rather than who is more qualified

The employees would work together better if they were actually Allowed to work “together”! Unfortunately they are all micro managed and undervalued. Management is what needs to change

Departments don't communicate causing the store to work against itself. Department heads don't like each other. Management goes against each other. Team members don't follow their department heads.

More recognition fora job well done. Not say what you did right just what you didn’t do. Ex you had a $7000 sale But you didn’t get a credit card even though they already had one.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
In an effort to cut costs, the company is reducing department heads instead of the needed increase

Management is hiring the wrong people. The store as a whole does not operate as one team. And individual departments don't function well together or with each other. Change needs to happen but no body in management is putting the effort in to make a change.

I feel my co-worker is favored over me, even though we are supposedly "equals". She's not proficient in her current position, but they are training her as backup in another.
