I've had to receive job offers from other companies in order to get raises here. Last year it did feel good to finally be recognized with a promotion, even if it was a year later than it was supposed to be. The amount was underwhelming but appeasing. More stock option benefits always a plus

While the pay rate has been significantly better over the years, we still underpay compared to the local market. I can go to a different company in the area & easily get paid more for doing less. As a manager, my biggest concern is losing great young talent because we're not competitive in salary

In order to get a meaningful raise here, you have to get an offer from an outside company to get it matched. Being reactive vs. proactive when it comes to salaries, isn't great in employee's eyes. I've been doing director-level work for over 2 years and continue to be paid at a Sr. Manager level
