
Listening to the people that built this company. Get back to selling groceries and less paper pushing. Micro managing to the point it pencle whipped to get it all done. Lots of people telling people how to do things they have never done with experience.
As union company employee and dept head we are paid less than all competition in this area. Many clerks at other companies make more than dept. Heads do for Kroger. Under staffed also at that pay does not help the situation and lowers moral. Benefits have slowly depleted. Disappointed in my company.
Store management seems to understand our work load. The demand is on them too. Most days they can assist in the operations to make things better. Other days they waste our time checking if all the things are done. For which they no its not. Being Under staffed with the incompetents we hire.
Under played is the issue. But its not really about me. I'm still here because of 35 yrs loyalty. Staffing with good help is the issue. Never going to get it when it does not seem the company cares little about our pay. Most of us are under 15 to 25 Grand a year. What's yours?
Many will never get better. They are the ones Wal-Mart did not want. Our pay scale is lower than theirs. So we get the bad apples. Might get better help hiring from the prison system. As a second chance program. Most employees don't care if they work or not at these wages. They made more unemployed
