What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stuck in the past. Have no innovation or vision for the future. They all just copy the competition. Also lost the customer first in everything we do. More now the customer will except it.

The CEO/President has completely lost their way and vaules. Most stores work with understaffed skeleton crews and are expected to keep unrealistic standards. Hours keep getting cut along with benefits. Pay is below most other places. I would not recommend working at Kroger.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think I have worked for Kroger 4 and half years and deserve to be paid a little more.

They continue to think gift cards and no raise are ok. Our division top pay is now less than Walmart and target'starting pay. My benefit go up every year more than the 1% raise we get. But the cao got a 21% raise last year.

I'm a Deli Clerk getting paid equal to high school courtesy clerks after working for nearly 8 months, full time. I believe a work a significantly more difficult job and deserve a slightly better pay and/or benefits plan to reflect this.

Most of the coworkers are lazy and do not grasp what "teamwork" is. They need to start actually putting forth some sort of effort because one person has to do the job of three or more individuals because the other workers are hiding or talking.
