I already left the home Depot this past week. Was amazing working there. But I wanted a career with the company and it was denied. So I moved on to bigger and better things.
I worked in flooring, my team was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The best team I ever worked along side, but the managers do not see it and only treat and respect one person out of five. Favoritism.
Need a walk through of the attitudes the managers have. Unmotivated, and you get blown off when you try to have a serious conversation. Only one out of the four managers treats everyone fairly and it's the store manager.
Management only cares what's best and easiest for them. Favoritism is a huge role in who gets to move up and who doesn't. Wanted to be a designer, even tried for a position I already had, just full time. And was denied because someone who was a favorite applied and was offered the job then and there
