Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Ever since I started here it has only ever been a positive growth experience. I want to come in and work hard to show that I'm a worthy part of the team. I want to progress my career with this company and to move up.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

My experience with Verisys has been nothing but outstanding, especially when march hit. The prompt response and ability to act when the pandemic hit is inspiring. That and how open everyone is with not only work ethic but also personal mental health is amazing.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Initially it was great. When the company was just Verisys and we had John Benson I loved it, I was proud to work here. We had amazing benefits and were listened to. But After the merge it's all downhill. Noone listens and I see micromanagers and toxic leadership, anything Carlos says brings fear.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

At the start when it was just Verisys it was amazing, the best place I've worked at. But once Aperture took over it has been getting worse every single quarter. I now feel like I could loose my job at a moments notice, there's no time given to team building, and it just is a boring grind now.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all work together, it feels like we can approach each other for help if ever needed.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The openness and trust given to us. We aren't being micromanaged to get the work needed finished.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all work hard together, if there's ever any question we can easily get it answered and resolved.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

How open and understanding they are. I feel like I can always approach them for anything that comes up.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Cost of living raises. Protection against micromanagement, being able to actually recommend positions in the production team. An executive team that listens.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

For the work that needs to be done and the skills required the pay is far below average, especially for the place of living.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

How open and approachable they are. I feel like I can bring any issue to them and they would do their best to help address it.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are currently protected from the toxic workspace being created in production. The insane micromanaging and aggression there makes me afraid it will be forced into other departments.

What makes you most happy at work?

How open the job is. How I can easily make up time if something important came up and how the work flow can change on a daily/weekly basis

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone on my team is very willing to help out and explain something I don't understand. We are all willing to help each other grow and become better together.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

A cost of living adjustment. And protection from the fear that Carlos and Chris will one day start micromanaging other departments like how they micromanage and berate production currently.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I feel like I can approach them about any issue I have. They are so open and willing to work with me if there is ever an issue or concern.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Current direct leadership has been wonderful, however with recent layoffs they are overworked and overstressed. It shows from viewing below. Nothing has been done to alleviate the pressure put on them either.

What makes you most happy at work?

The ease of mind knowing that if something in my life comes up that requires me to take leave time that my work understands this and promotes the use of that time.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I have nothing positive to say about the current CEO leadership about the company. Especially if we are belittled constantly when asking for raises and there is the fear of micromanaging appearing in other departments.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The rate of pay is too low. Raises are rare and if they are ever given they make no actual dent and are negligible at best. 3% raises do not keep up with the cost of living, especially for the rising rate of inflation.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We no longer have time set aside for team building activities. Now it's just a constant unending grind of data with no breaks and no attempts to get to know the team we're working with. People feel like anonymous bubbles in google chat now and not people.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The executive team has constantly berated and belittled us at every town hall for asking for cost of living adjustments, We can't even afford to use the healthcare benefits they always deflect with!!! We can't even afford rent! We are never listened to and brushed off every time with non answers.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Aperture taking over has slowly removed all the fun that Verisys had. This company is now a husk of what it used to be. There's no longer any fun refresher trainings, there's no time to meet our team members, its just a a constant grind where we only message others to fix things now.

What makes you most happy at work?

Knowing that showing up isn't going to be a grind, a trial to force myself to get through. Knowing that I can approach anyone with questions about the work, knowing that I am provided free treats to help get me through the day. I am very happy to show up to work in the morning.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I feel like I have pride in saying where I work at. I have yet to feel like I need to force myself to go to work or to push through something negative about showing up. I want to be here and to work hard to show that all the positive things like free snacks is worth it to provide.
