Not much. Its really slow, can take months to get an offer.
Mr Dell. He is actually an inspiration, he has passion about tech, and loves doing good for the whole world.
My direct leader is great. Executive leadership is full of yes men to Mr Dell. If your even remotely conservative politically, don't consider jobs any other than federal.
Be smarter. Legacy EMC people seems to be much better than legacy Dell. All L-Dell people know how to do is sell desktop pc's and server boxes. We could get monkeys to do just as good of a job.
The company every quarter forces the corporate kool-aide and regurgitation of marketing incompetence.Dell is #1 in PC's, servers and storage and thats all they run around and tell everyone. It's not because we have the best, its because HP stumbled and we overtook them.
Work life balance is a tag line at this company but is non-existent. Climbing the corporate ladder is excruciatingly long with no clear objectives defined how to get you there. It's pretty much a good ol' boys company and if your not of one them you dont get the good positions.
