More communication and less escalation.
The team is very understanding.
If there was more interaction with the US team about the kind of work they do and the things that are expected from us, it will solve a lot of problems.
For the amount of work hours we put before our workday even starts to manage the workload, I think we can be compensated fairly for the amount of work one person does. People who have to handle these many projects with these many authors, I think we can be paid better.
The work pressure can be better balanced and projects can be better managed if more people were added to the team. Also, this mandatory relocation before joining clause is a bit draconian. I wish all employees could work remotely from their homes. This reduces the pressure and time taken to travel
We work different shifts in India. 4 days a week we have different one shift and on the fifth day it is the opposite shift. The work we are supposed to do in project management extends way beyond what was given in the job description. I think the compensation is less than what we should be paid.
I think that working from home will be more beneficial given the insane amount of work that is expected from us within such short periods. This will be beneficial as we get a lot of work towards the weekend and if we work the same shift from home instead of going to office one day to work day shift.
I think employees should be given more flexibility in working keeping in mind the pressure that is put on them. I think remote work should be the way to go ahead for people who want to work from home and do not want to relocate just to be at work one day every week. I hope this is taken into account
I think if the company allows us to work remotely without having to show up at work 4 times a month, it will be easier for us. In India, we work difficult hours all week and suddenly 1 day a week we are asked to show up at work early in the morning, for the same work that can be done at home.
