Better planning and focus on well-defined priorities. There are too many things going on at once to do any of them well and it is way to easy to get distracted by a new initiative before finishing current work.
Bonus is technically a retained portion of my salary based on performance. Merit increases seem to be mostly prescribed by budget with a minor modifier for performance. 401k match is low. Only way to get a real salary increase is a promotion which don't have a clearly defined path.
