I work in healthcare and cannot afford my own healthcare. Rather than benefits improving, every year they are less and less.

I feel pressured to join a toxic culture of overworking and stressing out about work, but I know it's not a sustainable or healthy lifestyle. Everything seems experimental and processes are not valued.

U.S. Dermatology Partners: This is a great place to work but the pay is horrible. Most places are starting new medical assistants at $22-$25 and I am not even close to that. The last time I got paid this low was in 2016, it is now 2023. I have to live with my parents because I cannot afford a home.
SPS Commerce: My experience started out very high, but gets worse everyday. The job description was misleading, I was not provided WFH equipment, management turnover within 6 months, new manager makes work difficult and unfun, issues are constantly ignored

SPS Commerce: I think the pay gap between Canada (my location) and the US is far larger than it should be. Cost of living is quite high here and we should be compensated to match. Also, having a better benefit program is key, including eyewear, especially for a tech company.
SPS Commerce: They're real people! They are approachable, maintain an "open door" atmosphere, and take the time to interact with staff of all levels.

Crunch Fitness: Redlight therapy room, pricing. The location im at is out of the way for me to honest. I have 6-7 gyms closer with comparible pricing. But you have things that other gyms do not offer which is good.

Beacon Hill: Beacon Hill is constantly growing and changing which makes my role exciting because we are always making changes to accommodate the change. I have learned a lot in my role and have grown as a person because of it.

MERKLE INC: they are transparent as to the state of the business as much as they can - but also read between the lines to really understand what is coming - ie lay offs

Appian: I've heard that junior colleagues make roughly 10% less than I do, so I kind feel underpaid from that perspective. Other companies are offering more RSUs than Appian - e.g. UiPath is offering RSUs worth of 160k EUR on a 4 year basis.
Barracuda Networks: The compensation is low compared to market trends
Dynatrace: Lovely intelligent people, but some inefficiencies with walls between processes do need to be improved.

Appian: I really feel that the support to thrive exists here and that the company promotes from within based on performance not just time in grade.

Barracuda Networks: Barracuda is a very good company, with very smart employees where I see myself working and contributing to the development of innovative products, but I believe that the salaries (at least mine) should be increased.
FSA Federal: This has been a great opportunity to use skills learned from the military after transitioning out of active duty. I have been provided ample opportunities to lead and help others, but the actual work has not been challenging.

Meltwater: i'm successful at what i do so that's where a lot of my happiness comes from. i enjoy being around my coworkers, but i do feel there is a layer of trust and communication missing from management, which is then difficult to communicate upwards.
