The company culture has definitely shifted as we merged. I used to feel valued and more excited about work. Now I feel more like a worker and a number. I feel less appreciated. It has been sad to see the fall. Everyone seems more stressed and burnt out.

Started out great, we merged, new leadership came in and cleaned out legacy middle management, no opportunities for growth and new sense of micromanaging people.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Our sass and sarcastic comments. Meme wars

Working from home. Solving problems. Helping others.

Being able to work from home.

My new director has more meetings to let us know what is going on.

People are kind and also respect my introvertedness and I can choose to participate in stuff or not.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Inside jokes, we have a "collective brain" and help each other out as we all have various strengths and weaknesses.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Very personable, even while working/being hired from home. I know who they are, what they look like, and they are giving us lots of opportunities to reach out.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I feel like I have the tools I need to work from home. My husband's company didn't provide them with anything. It makes me feel like they want me to succeed.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Cost of living raises. Bring back OT incentives. More resources to help with inflation. Open conversation about inflation. Hire more people so I only do my job and not the job of others.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

I think it starts with management communicating better so we are not all trying to figure out what to do and boss each other around. Learn to follow written instructions and not ask questions of things that are easily found in rule documents.

What makes you most happy at work?

When people don't talk to me- because that means I'm doing my job right and don't need corrections. When I am the only one working on a queue and I am able to complete it, or a color block from it. I am competitive and love knowing that I'm doing awesome.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The division of "functional groups" within production has been very messy- more care in dividing up resources, and willing to switch some other teams. I feel like we were underprepared for the mass hiring that took place. Our spreadsheets and queues are hard to work with the volume of people

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

I don't really work with anyone on my same level. I find a lot of the chatter on the chat channels annoying and I get a little frustrated that people seem to not be working as hard as I am, as they talk about what's going on around them and having full conversations over chat.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I've held two positions, the first I was paid more and did less work, the second I work pretty much non-stop with higher than average numbers and get paid less. I feel like OT, especially the $50 incentive, was very fair. However, it does make it hard to go back to no incentive doing the same work.
