I have loved the last 5 years at Workday, even though we have grown immensely over the last 5 years I still don't feel like I am just a number. But again it comes back to the quality of the people we hire and the people I am surrounded by every day, I couldn't ask for better coworkers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I think like most teams in Workday, there is no hierarchy, I have never once felt superior or undervalued no matter who I have been interacting with. Everyone is more than happy to help and assist wherever they can no matter what their level is
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Multiple fantastic elements to my compensation package, to name a few; excellent healthcare, really good opportunities for different types of leave to cater to all life situations, a very flexible work model to focus on a great work life balance. The salary, stock and bonus is also very helpful :)
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel like our leadership team really do live and breathe our core values, with a specific focus on employees. Even through the most difficult of times they are as honest, genuine and transparent as they can be. They will do everything in their power to make sure all employees are looked after!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think we are extremely good at hiring people because there is a huge emphasis on culture fit throughout the interview process, so the best thing about the environment is the people. In the 5 years I have been here I have yet to meet someone that is not a genuinely nice person to work with.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love what I do and the people I work with. But, one of my favourite things about Workday is, even though it is a very fast paced environment I very rarely feel stressed, high amounts of pressure at times yes, but not stressed and there is a big difference. A result of having a great support system
