Overall, I owe so much to Workday. As is inevitable the company has changed as it has grown. I am grateful to have been on the ride with the company and love that I am still on the team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love how my team is supportive of each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happy to have my team and my manager. I am thankful for the challenging work along with the support to get the job done.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The RSUs are a huge component of the compensation packae that retains our employees. It is likely the reason that people have stayed despite fear of where we are headed and the insecurity of each person's job.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that Aneel has returned. We were all struggling at the employee level and having him back gives us hope. We are emerging from a dark 3 year period of layoffs and budget cuts and margin issues. I believe Aneel has a vision that will take us back to where we used to be.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The return to "Employees" as a core value is huge for me. We not only shifted it to be last on the value list but in some ways it was completely eliminated as a value in the last couple of years. Employees became a commodity only and were viewed and treated as expendable. No one was exempt.
