I believe that there should be better variable pay based on the value we create for the business. The salary freeze is also being acutely felt because of inflation and the rise if cost of living.

The company articulates internal salary increases based on EOP multiples rather than true role value. This 'method' makes catching up lower salaries a never ending process. Several employees leave within 12mo after getting bigger accountabilities because pay does not follow (or it does too slowly).
