PTO is not bad for corporate employees, travel discounts and bonus

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The hospitality industry is underpaid. Because hotel workers receive low wages, the corporate employees are paid lower than their other corporate counterparts. I could be making a lot more at another organization.

What are some of the best things about your team?
my team is great at working independently but can still come together to ask questions and express concerns

We have a family like atmosphere and we all work hard to get the job done to the guests satisfaction. There may be bumps along the way behind the scenes but at the end of the day, we made the day for the guest and brought us closer as coworkers.

Meetings are never effective. Too much talking without getting anything accomplished.

not having anyone look over my work, trust that I am doing my job and I love what I do so it makes me happy to help others.

Knowing that I am making a difference in the experience of our guests whether they be visiting for vacation, a wedding, a funeral, a friends trip, business, etc. There is always something I can do to make a difference in their day.
