What is the best part about your compensation package?
it was the unlimited leave, but that has now changed.

It used to be unlimited PTO. It sucks that a few people ruined that for everyone. It should have just had more parameters placed on it so that managers felt empowered to help with issues they were having. For those of us who are responsible and care about our jobs, this felt like a punishment

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Greater compensation and company matching.

Pay is standard, but we work remotely so I know the company has saved money without an office. The benefits are also standard (health care and dental). We don't get education credits, parental leave is the state minimum, and events are mainly for Boston individuals.

A 401k match program would be beneficial, and is definitely a competitive disadvantage at the moment. A more structured bonus program would help bring the whole package in line with the industry more as well.

What are some of the best things about your team?
They are very friendly and willing to help anytime I have questions. Also I appreciate how they support me when they have go through the same issues and roadblocks I have when they started to Hometap

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I am excited to see the more I stay at Hometap. I was hired in the past year so I am still looking for the culture at Hometap

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I think 'excited' is not the word I feel about going into work everyday. About once a quarter I'm given a task that pushes me and gets me excited. Otherwise I'm grateful to have a job and am happy I get along with my co workers - if we were in person more I think I'd be happier/more excited
