Horrible. One of the worst places I have worked in 20 years. I am surprised they are as successful as they are considering that the environment I was in was one of the world I have seen in decades of computing.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
More than fair for the job being asked.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They challenged me with current ideas and warned me about the work environment. I didn't listen. They all left shortly thereafter.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Environment is hostile, closed, and follows the open floor plan which has been disproven to work again and again. So much politics it is hard to breathe.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Bring in leaders who have worked in modern software development companies in the last 5 years instead of promoting stale managers and leaders who talk, but don't deliver. Cultural problems are always leadership problems.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Learn how to create trust and collaboration. Respect is the underpinning of all collaborative interactions. Even if you don't agree, respect the person in front of you. Don't be selfish all the time.
