Leadership that uses positive reinforcement, be more accommodating for those with longer commutes. Either flex work or work from home agreements. More trust in employees work ethic that they will get the job done. Follow through with promises.
Having trust in there employees to complete the job working at our remotes offices. Better training. Create a better environment that promotes career advancements and follow through with them. Better leadership. They create an environment of threats instead of a positive environment.
Constant change in the last year with region boundaries and leadership. Realize we have priorities outside of work. A lot of our work can be done remotely to cut down on commutes. If they can’t trust the employee they shouldn’t hire them.
I’m leaving the company because I found another organization that is willing to pay more. CenturyLink requires me to commute 50 miles to our engineering office alwhen we have an office 25 miles from my house. I feel they can offer more flex time. Very slow increasing rate of PTO earned.
