The entire compensation package is regressive with huge decelerators, and paid on scale for a fantastic mid-1990's role.

Compensation is below market for the same skills. Internal promotions are a chance to level set, but instead CenturyLink uses the opportunity to cut wages. It would be better to leave CenturyLink and come back for a promotion than stay and promote.

Always being threatened to be fired causes immense stress when it comes to what brings in money for your family. The company should focus on making the metrics fit the calls we take.
