Employees are unappreciated in departments that deal directly with edge technology. No growth available unless one leaves the dept and comes back from another. In these departments, employees are resources, not people.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Annual raises to match inflation (minimum) and a workload reflective of the environment.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The diligence of the co-workers and their tenacity to do a job that is difficult and ever changing.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening. They fail to gather data from employees their decisions affect and turn a blind eye to their internal problems. Cart-before-the-horse mentality. No appreciation, only criticism. Policies encourage an "under-the-radar" attitude. "Everyone can be replaced" leadership.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Policies need to be followed by all, not just floor employees. Work that does not belong in the center needs to be removed. The do more with less culture is tiresome and insulting. Managed devices grow while the amount of people to support them dwindles. Automation is in its infancy.
