Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Coming to Nightingale College, as a collaborator, has been a good move for me and I am very hopeful about my professional future.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They provide timely and pertinent updates

We work together and we all take Evolvitude seriously.
What makes you most happy at work?
Assisting learners to "get it"
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are always surveying the landscape and they make efforts to work with the collaborator group to improve the working environment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Typically I do feel that Nightingale does hold true to the Evolvitude statements. This is unusual, as most mission statements are just hangings on the wall.
What makes you most happy at work?
At the end of most days, I can say without a doubt that I have assisted another person better themselves, whether it be a learner or co-collaborator.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a doctorate prepared scholar and educator that works year round I feel my salary is anywhere from 12-15% under what I am worth to the company
What are some of the best things about your team?
We keep each other laughing when we are under pressure with deadlines and we are always ready to help each other out when a person on the team is "sinking."
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I truly enjoy Flame Forward. It is great to have the one time per year to work within my Function and see all collaborators. Often, I see examples of the executive leadership taking actions that validate the company mission, vision, values and Evolvitude. I've not experienced that any place else.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am at the top of my pay scale, with 39 years' experience in professional nursing, a terminal degree and 19+ years of academic experience, and 10+ years nationally certified as a CNE, the going rate for an RN with my credentials is at least another 10-15K per year, then my current salary.
