I love it here. My colleagues, our learners, and our culture are wonderful. We just need to live up to our values more fully. Saying we're a special, different, and better organization than those comparable to us, but then saying "we pay you the going market rate" is contradictory. It hurts morale.
What makes you most happy at work?
Supporting each other and helping learners realize their dreams.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The support and consideration we show each other. They are the best team I have ever worked with in my entire career.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do feel generally valued, and I feel very valued by my team, function leader, and wider department. Compensation is just very low for the work that we do. The medical benefits are also very disappointing for a nursing college. I don't think either of these issues conform to the evolvitude statemen
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our genuine investment in seeing learners succeed. I know I spend much more time than what I am paid for to help that happen, and I know others do that too. It would just be nice if we were compensated fairly so that it is in line with our qualifications and the college's mission, vision, and values
