It starts of OK , there is definitely alot of benefits and perks of working at a high end department store. However , there's not alot of growth they arent clear on what commision is REALLY based off of, very understaffed and not alot of respect between sales, management and people from other depts.

They make the hours go by faster , effective and understanding .. depending on who.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that they wanted me to pick out and outfit , they cared about how I styled clothes and my confidence in doing so.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Respect that your workers have a life outside of Nordstrom. Be fair and equal with all employees not just the paysetters or ones that has worked for years. or
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Overworked, and because we are so understaff management expects you to carry all that extra weight instead of helping themselves. I'd love for them to acknowledge people like me have other responsibilities like school. Also my commision should be based on the hours im working not everyone elses!
