I work with some very talented people who are committed to continuous improvement.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Corporate contribution to the 401(K). Nice to know if we do well, we ALL do well.

What did you like most about the interview process?

My tour of the fulfillment center. I was enchanted by the supply chain side of retail. And all the shoes...

What makes you most happy at work?

I strive to make it easier for our associates every day. Helping make their good change ideas come to pass and seeing their engagement is my joy.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

While Blake Nordstrom's passing was a heartbreak, that Nordstrom added a corporate value "We Extend Ourselves" in his honor is a reflection of the diverse and inclusive environment Nordstrom wants for her staff and customers.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

At the bottom of the pyramid, there is no doubt that the leaders of Nordstrom care deeply about their company, their employees, and their customers. While not all leaders moving up the pyramid are exemplars, there still are very many who live the Nordstrom values.
