Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Sabre has been a great company to work for, but with some recent pitfalls. The hybrid return to office model and the reluctance to hire talent has been frustrating. There is a culture to develop quickly, with quality often taking a backseat. If these can be worked on, Sabre will be in a great place
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Good benefits, above average for a benefits package you'd usually see.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is a team player and is always available to help jump into a project.
What makes you most happy at work?
The ability to create documentation, publish it on our site, and see tangible results every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their open-mindedness. The establishment of the Work From Anywhere program and the Sabre Inclusion groups has had a massive, positive impact on work-life balance and company culture.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel as if I am paid fairly compared to the rest of the market, and my benefits have been great. I would prefer the inclusion of travel benefits as well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Although dependent on team/leadership, Sabre overall promotes a good work/life balance. Within the past year, this needle has begun to shift. If Sabre can continue to hire talent and distribute workload evenly, the culture will stay winning.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone on my team is willing to help out at the drop of a hat; everyone works well together, and we've really fostered a small community where we can seek guidance, be vulnerable, and lean on each other for expertise.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leaders expect excellent performance while providing as little resources and investment in employees as possible. We aren't allowed to backfill/hire new talent, so existing employees absorb multiple workloads across a given year as talent exits. This has resulted in palpable burnout and eroded faith
