I've gotten certifications throughout my time at Sabre and really nothing to show for it. I love the culture, but at the end of the day Sabre doesn't pay. Sabre places me in charge of my own career and it doesnt even seem like they care about the progress I make professionally

We communicate well and thats what makes us successful.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They have a lot of events to network people
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They care about me as a person. They are sort of trying to help us expand professionally with getting Udemy.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Compensation. Incentives for certifications and not just reimbursements. It takes a lot more time, and materials than what Sabre thinks to get more IT certifications. I see on job boards that they want things such as OSCP, but Sabre doesnt train internally who is interested to build us up.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being competitive with other places!! It's hard to see me gain more knowledge AND certifications on the side and only get reimbursed for the certification - not the material I pay into it - nothing else. Theres NO incentive for getting certifications. Its just a "heres the money for the voucher thx"
