Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
When I joined some years ago, the executives understood the business and the challenges in it. Now we have generic tech enthusiasts following the latest fad.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The retention bonus is good.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting things done. Technical things.

Where people can be helpful, they make time to be helpful.

The variety of people and backgrounds leads to generally satisfying interactions.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparent about what's not going well. Open to new ways of working.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are friendly, capable, helpful, willing. Unfazed by challenges, forward facing, change-embracing.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary need to keep up with inflation. US equivalent doing the same job gets paid a lot more.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting things done, like done and finished, not agile definition of done which is "paper" done to tick a box.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Lots of experienced Sabre employees who understand what they're doing and have the history and continuity to see projects to completion.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am working multiple additional jobs aside from my own. I have responsibility for outcomes I don't control. It is very stressful.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not insulting the people that generate current revenue in favour of the people who have failed for years to generate next generation revenue.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happiest at work when we are getting things done; Improving products for customers, helping them avoid external cost, reducing friction in travel.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The answers are mostly straight, with an acknowledgement of an inability to answer in some circumstances. They are upbeat about the company future and have a vision.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team are great, both of the teams I am a member of. The development teams we interact with, not so much... revolving door of people who lack the skills and knowledge. As soon as you have one trained up, they're off... not their fault, but difficult to make progress with.
