Before Covid it was really good, navigating Covid as a company went well. The last 18 months haven't been so good. They talk about caring for employees, but do the opposite by delaying merit & promotions, make us provide birth certificates for dependents, being less transparent and process oriented
Great in the past, a little less now. Felt like a valued person in the past, feel like a number now.
care about us as people and very transparent
people are genuine and good to work with
it is what we make it
interesting projects and good people
salary seems to be behind especially based on tenure and knowledge
The people and how we work together despite being spread across locations.
Talking with and being able to help our customers achieve their goals.
Working with my colleagues on exciting products, they make the job worth it.
They were more transparent in the past and are less transparent now, or the reasoning doesn't make a lot of sense
That the employees have built a good culture and environment with WFA and "leadership" hasn't killed it yet, but worried because of Kurt's comments
We all work well together and value each other. This is the reason I stay, definitely not because of "leadership", our managers don't understand how things actually get designed and built.
Interacting with colleagues doesn't mean in person. I haven't met most of my coworkers in person due to different locations (Richmond and Krakow), but we all care about each other and our customers. We like working on the hard things and collaborating as a team.
Base pay is outdated and benefits are standard or below market. Colleagues leave for lower positions with less responsibility & receive a higher salary & overall compensation package. Delaying merit, promotions, and having to prove dependents for insurance isn't very employee friendly.
Wages are stagnate & ELT compensation is too high compared to employees; 30 mile commutes in DFW are difficult so a 50 mile expectation is ridiculous; RTA is difficult to understand when colleagues are not in DFW; workload is high so hard to justify in office events that are not work related
