Our intentions are good and we have some great people. Where we're at isn't great (and customers feel that pain), we're lacking in execution on how we get there. We don't necessarily have fully engaged/committed members of the e-team. We certainly don't put the customer at the heart of what we do.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Mixed. Team mates drive a welcome family culture but there are so many that aren't really contributing. We have so much dysfunction I crave efficiency and common sense, we just can't seem to get out of our own way sometimes... and it costs us in time and dollars.

That we care of our team members as individuals

Transparency and a sense of productive collaboration as a leadership team.

The culture has a family first sentiment AND we all feel like family!
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a diverse team; all bring different contributions to the table as our experiences and markets are very different.
What makes you most happy at work?
Receiving a thank-you for work well done. Feeling that I contribute value. Feeling that I can learn, grow and feel challenged.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know I'm not paid fairly based on where I sit vs the mid-point against market benchmarking (the very system we use).
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great industry strength, very smart and very motivated. I enjoy that I respect them professionally and get on very well with them personally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Great energy and seem very focused. Kurt in particular seems to really understand the challenges and is invested in making the changes we need to be successful.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We're far too slow to get anything done because we try to do way too much. Despite there being a leadership appetite to increase autonomy the level of dysfunction in our organization is still significant.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've patiently waited; the limited budgets in the merit and promotion cycle since the pandemic has impacted. I'm not at the same pay grate as my peers despite performing at a higher level because they are new, they came it at higher salaries, my tenure has worked against me.
