P25 changes really jaded my view in the way it was handled. More than that, Sabre seems to be stuck in doing things they way they've been done despite changes in leadership. We move slow and we're the ones preventing us from moving faster. We don't act like a tech company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're bright and dedicated individuals passionate about what they do.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We need to get out of our own way and move faster, just like leadership says, but we just don't do it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If my compensation was on par with the market. There are a lot of people leaving Sabre making much more money and getting additional benefits. Sabre is falling behind.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
P25 re-org was a mess in they way it was handled and the new group into which we report. I am no constantly inundated with busy work that's prioritized over actual project work. Unfortunately I feel the need to prioritize the busy work bc I'm reporting to new leadership.
