Continued transparency about the state of the business, industry and Sabre as a company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our pay increases do not meet inflation rates. I'm being paid less than 5 years ago when I started
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our US based colleagues are paid 60% more for equivalent or lower positions. At the same time, pay increases are no where near inflation.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too much on my plate, not enough people on the team/in the department, new tasks getting piled on a daily basis, because management knows I can get stuff done.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I really like the transparency shown by our leadership team. I feel included in the conversation even several levels below the executives, instead of being talked down to as in some other companies.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is super helpful and open - you never feel like you're alone, everyone has a good support system in place from just coworkers to trusted advisers and even friends outside of the office.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are so dysfunctional, but no one has time to fix things because leadership is overworked to help create strategy and fix things. And even though we're told we're empowered to create change - we're not
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great personalities, knowledgeable professionals and willing to get stuff done. There are some folks who don't really fit the bill, but overall new hires really gel well with the company culture and really high expectations for performance.
