My journey with SABRE is wonderful. There were many challenges but my leaders helped to address them. Main concern in SABRE (Especially BLR location) losing talents frequently. This has created dent in our work.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
SRE leader, plan and execute Operation work. Address customer escalation. Migrate to GCP. Focus on reducing the toil work & automate. Work with DEV & Product to help roll out yearly Product road map. (Iteration planning, reviews, Release readiness, Deployment to multiple environments, etc)
What makes you most happy at work?
Working in Travel industry, especially corporate booking application.

Major projects like migrating to Oracle19 C and migrating from On-premises to Google cloud.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My leaders are very supportive & help team to navigate when we are in trouble.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team will answer my call help anytime whenever we have priority incident & customer impact.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Losing talent frequently is causing drop in productivity. Quality hours are waster in KT & training new resources.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued by comparing with my friend circle for the similar job and the compensation they are getting.

I have taken additional responsibilities along with current role in last 2+ years. I feel this should have been recognized.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is committed to delivery. many times we were shortage of resource my team work shared the load, spent extra hours and made sure main projects deliverables are not impacted.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Work flexibility, though I work 10 hours (average), my leaders have given flixible working option so that I can plan & deliver my work without focusing on 8AM to 6PM. For BLR facility I feel, BLR Site leader & his entire SLC are the main driver for adopting best culture.
