Sabre has changed my life. I'm here because someone took a chance on me & it has been transformational. There is so much complexity & the challenges are so immense but with that comes a lot of opportunity to grow & create meaningful impact. I've learned so much in my time here. Very rewarding.

I like their vision, transparency, & actions taken to care for their employees.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The teams in labs & UX are the best. I'm surrounded by super stars. There's a high concentration of highly skilled, hard working, kind, open, & collaborative people over here.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a strong, unifying vision. I've seen a lot of improvements overall in the transparency of communication, listening to employees, flexibility, & commitment to continuous improvement. We've got our challenges but I think the direction is good.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are short staffed (like everyone) & job complexity makes it infeasible to borrow labor. Also, we do need to move faster, but this focus on haste is starting to cause sloppy work/decisions that are likely to create more work/churn downline. 300 char isn't enough space to unpack this question.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Data on salary comparisons (INCLUDING Sabre on Glassdoor) & ranges from recruiters show that I'm paid 30% less than the est. base pay for my role. I started low bc of exp. but 3 yrs later & there is no way for me to bridge the gap even with promotions without leaving Sabre.
