What makes you most happy at work?
Love our project and my team. The career opportunities are good despite being slow. The people I work with are great work partners.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have been more candid with their messaging and measures they are taking. Ironically, I believe the pandemic helped leadership understand the important of "keeping it real".
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are very respectful and professional. There are no egos and off putting competition between colleagues or teams. We collaborate and understand we're all pushing towards the same goals.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My salary is lagging behind the industry (Engineer Supervisor) and the fact that salaries are reviewed once a year is punishing. I'd have to threaten to leave to get a proper salary adjustment.
