There are a lot of opportunities for learning with online courses and such, learning from colleagues is tricky though. There are lots of opportunities to grow, hopefully they'll come my way and with a wage increase, as it's been very minimal the last couple of years.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It's been a rollercoaster ride, 5 bosses in 5 years, one year was good when I reached my sales goals, but the next 2 were not so good. SIP Goals are too high, it makes for a frustrating year, not reaching the goals and my commissions being very small and frustrating. Love the people, not the methods

Ability to work from anywhere and keep standards high

Transparency, nimble attitude when it comes to correcting the course

Helping others achieve their goals, self development, potential for commissions on top of salary
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm paid about 20% to 30% less than the average Account Director role in the market.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collaboration, people willing to help people develop, industry knowledge accumulated within Sabre, and the trainings available to us, that's amazing

Freedom to chose where to work from, as we've been empowered with the proper tools for this advantage, and it helps conduct our family lives with more balance. I appreciate it!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Clear long-term direction they want to pursue with the company, as opposed to the previous leadership which switched directions every year and the priorities were always shifting or being cancelled all together. These guys have set their north star and pursue their goals, regardless of stock price.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Collective expertise in Sabre technologies, desire to win and make good with the customers, to sell them solutions they'll appreciate and help them achieve their goals. We're focused even though overwhelmed with work, to win in the market. I wish the company recognized that and compensated us for it
What makes you most happy at work?
Payday, winning sales opportunities, free food at least once a week because driving 45 minutes to get here, at least that is an incentive that I don't have to wait almost 3 months for (SIP takes a while to process and pay), and it does help my wallet, it should happen more often!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Looking at the market, I'm about 30% off compared to similar positions elsewhere, and it would help me to be happy to make more money, so that when other companies come knocking which has happened at the end of last year and this year, I'm not as tempted to leave. Even a 25% increase would help me.
