The company overall is great. However, like any company, it's driven by revenue and looking good for the investors. When we're up we're all happy. When we're down, we're all nervous about our jobs but that is true anywhere. Direct Management is great so it keeps me enjoying the job at hand.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They understand the complexity of the work we're doing as well as our overall well being - they understand that most of us are over extended and hope to communicate that upstream to executive management.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Work at your own pace and the freedom to make decisions and mistakes to learn and grow. The mentoring aspect is nice as well. From peers to immediate supervisors it seems that they care quite a bit.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team seems to care about one another and is always ready to offer a helping hand especially for a new person like myself. Always willing to give me some personal attention when I'm struggling with tech or an application or process.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Since I've only been here a year it appears the insurance is top notch. My pay is on par with other companies and the bonus package is nice. However, when a company begins to struggle the first that goes is bonuses and raises - only being here a year so far so good.
What makes you most happy at work?
Just that I get to make a difference. But now that we've been reorganized I'm working towards learning the new processes of TE&O after not having any processes in place when we were under Finance. So change continues to happen in only the first 7 months of my job. I enjoy change / opportunity.
