Came in excited but that was quickly drained. Stymied, frustrated, unable to deliver or be productive in a company far too stuck in its ways to change and convinced it is doing a great job as all stats state otherwise.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop, like managers, competing with team members, trying to get one over or appear in charge. Try and create a more friendly open atmosphere, stop acting like management mini-me's.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Realistic strategy, listen to employees, try and improve as opposed to repeating same old mistakes. Common mantra is that "we need to improve" but clearly whilst keeping everything the same. Too many established flawed practices being maintained, too many fragile egos.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understanding issues, meeting employee's goals and expectations rather than pigeon-hole them. Value resources and look at your company with a clean pair of eyes. New joiners can clearly see long term organizational issues. Lots of competitive spirit but expressed as managers competing internally.
