I love working for Sabre and I consider myself priviledge of being part of it. Yet, I believe there are inconsistencies between our top leaders and the ones that work directly with us. The latter seem to have little time for actual coaching and/or transmitting clear goals.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The company is very thoughtful about the things that make our life better and undoubtely VCP makes the whole difference.
What makes you most happy at work?
The hope that change is around the corner. I am confident that our leaders have a great vision and that they will lead us all to the goal.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love mingle with colleagues from past positions and activities. Unfortunately I have not found the same dynamic on the team I work for now. At Sabre we enjoy working hard and together, getting things accomplished, belonging to groups that want to excel at their challenges. Awesome culture!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Top leaders are clear and develop a kind of servant model whereas leaders at lower levels seem more concerned about results than people. I wish my direct leaders would ensure that I get the training I need and that my progress is planned and measured with challanges in each step.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We should spend more time together sharing our lives and view on our daily tasks. We do not hold team meetings to plan the tasks ahead or talk about the things that could be done better. All decisions are made by the one with more seniority on the spot. Does not make sense to me at all.
