I'm impressed by the vast span of knowledge people at Sabre have. In my area of work, the focus needs to be on adding development resources (we have the funding) and also improving communication with our customers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like Shawn's drive and commitment to promote the work from anywhere program. It's set up really well and shows us that leadership cares about us.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very supportive and everyone looks out for the other. There is also a lot of knowledge that we do our best to share with one another.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that we are an international company, and through work from anywhere and the fact that Sabre is global, I have coworkers and team members from around the world. It promotes diverse backgrounds and diversity of thought. It's really beneficial.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Giving spouses healthcare is the first step to getting closer to satisfactory benefits. As a remote worker, I would appreciate some tools like a monitor and my wifi to be paid for, considering I feel we are underpaid as far as market rates in the tech industry.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the flexibility of hours this job provides, so I can take breaks when I need, and come back stronger. My team is spread out across the world so we have different work hours, but it makes work life balance easy to achieve since I can take breaks throughout the day.
