I get opportunities to develop in various fields and learn from more experienced people (as well as teach the less experienced onces). I work closely with smart and responsible people. The atmosphere is nice so even though I think we get underpaid it's worth to stay
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I enjoy working with my team on our products and the things I do. However, I do not feel valued. I feel that the company wants people to leave themselves instead of firing them because it's easier and cheaper for them. I'd leave the company if it wasn't for my team.

people being nice and open, organizing interesting events

there are stressful responsibilities like oncall

People in the same position as me are paid more in other similar companies

Willingness to help and cooperate, accountability, eagerness to develop and share knowledge, great atmosphere in the team

people are open and friendly, we have nice events organized in the office, manager cares about our team members

they are responsible, trustworthy, have great tech skills but also soft skills and on top of that they create a great atmosphere at work. they are the only thing that still keeps me in sabre
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Yes, I do feel undervalued. Compared to other tech companies in Krakow I am paid very very poorly. We have had a lot of cases of people leaving the team because they got much better wage offers (even though they didn't want to leave considering the team and product).
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
the company does not respect the employees, the leaders lie on meetings and say different things when you talk to them later 1on1. the company does not give money to leaders to distribute for raises and promotions so they're not paid fairly for their job (according to their skills and experience)
