Stop randomly firing people without providing any excuse, especially before paternal leave, this is borderline unethical to say the least!!!!!!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It's very, very hard to negotiate a raise that will even equate to the inflation rate, nor to mention a raise. I have over 240 hours overtime banked that I can't take nor can I receive compensation yet inflation rate in PL is over 5% and my raise was 5% minus taxes so it's a net decrease in salary.
