Overall experience is very good - the company was able to get me up and running in a fully remote environment with reasonable expectations and a good learning environment for me to get the best out of myself.

It's hard not to treat the job like a stepping stone when I feel completely dispensable.

Helping out teammates, and feeling appreciated for my input.

Incentivizing good work with tangible rewards. I don't want branded merchandise.

I think I should be paid more for the amount of work that I do.

Facilitate Interactions, hire people that want to buy in to the culture, create more of a team environment.

Being asked to do more and more, without appropriate compensation adjustment (barely more than the cost of living/inflation amount).

I have been getting more and more tasks and responsibilities, with no increase in pay. More $ would make me feel more valued.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I can't blame them, but I have zero relationship with really any coworkers. Any attempt to connect with coworkers must be driven by me.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Leadership and most everyone is eager to help out those who need it, and it makes me feel the same way. We're in this together and people understand this.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Impact - everyone has bought in on making the world a better place through our overall actions and work, but also through smaller interactions and doing what we can to make each others days better.
What makes you most happy at work?
Success. When I overcome a new and difficult project and am able to utilize the resources from the company and the help of others to come up with quality designs for people who want solar.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Bad work is being rewarded, because the only tracked metrics are quantity based. So it makes more sense for new hires to go fast first, and get the accuracy second. If the metrics could be updated to better show who is doing good work, there would be a lot less project issues.
