I appreciate my job. It pays my bills while allowing me to work from home. Though life is getting so much more expensive so that pay may soon not cover my basic living expenses. The people I work directly with are great but the overall boisterous enthusiasm shown sometimes is WAY too much.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Always willing to help even if my problem is a stupid one.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate them working with me when I have mental health problems. They help me by allowing me a fluctuating schedule and work from home options.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That everyone understands how much of a struggle it is to do our job with the tools we're given and we can commiserate with each other without judgement.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Get rid of Tesla Powerwall. This has been the most frustrating, aggravating, anxiety-inducing nightmare I've had to deal with. It genuinely brought up feelings of wanting to kill myself. Understanding how to design with that piece of equipment is absolutely impossible. The trainings aren't helpful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For the stress level that comes with my job (and the fact that inflation has devalued the dollar and hiked up housing prices where I live by an ENORMOUS amount) a higher pay base would be appropriate. I can BARELY afford to continue living in Utah, let alone anywhere near the Sunrun building.
